Roger & Amie - { Maternity }

Talk about ready to pop!!...This lovely momma is definitely ready...she delivers tomorrow.   I am fortunate enough to have them as my neighbors and they are such a pleasure.  Little Roger is truly blessed to have such wonderful parents.


Congrats Roger & Amie...I can't wait to meet your little prince!

Selling of unedited images!!! Yikes...not for me..

Sell you my unedited images....yikes...Sorry..but I just can't.

A lot of my clients have asked about the unedited images.  Most want to at least view them, others actually ask to purchase them.   The answer for is the same for both.  I choose not to allow my unedited images to be viewed or purchased.  The reason being is that I feel like what you see after editing is usually a lot different, preferably better....than the straight out of the camera image.  Even allowing you to view the unedited images to select which ones to be edited is really not going to work.  You may overlook a image that will look beyond amazing once edited...but you would never know.  It all comes down to ....you have researched your photographer...you like their work...and you trust their opinion.   So when a photographer says..."photographers choice"....its because they are going to provide you with the best they can offer...in their style and image ...

They have done a wonderful job of really helping you understand the difference.  

So much of a photographers style comes from the way a image is edited and displayed...you should consider that when selecting a photographer for you and your family.

Go Madison...& Go Marlin's Swimmers!!

Today was a cold day in Florida, highs in the 50's, windy and Madison had a swim meet!!

Madison, my 4 yo and my oldest,  was so excited and didn't even think it was a big deal about the weather until she got out of the water for the first time during warm ups....brrrr...!!   I think it was because she had so many wonderful people there to support her and cheer her on...One of them being her friend Kyndall...

So then we are ready to go...its time for her to really get her swim on...and then we find out...Today she will swim the butterfly for the first time at a meet...!! So anxious to see how she does.. :)  But for her...it is no big deal...

It was so awesome...Every time I see her swim at a meet...It amazes me!  She is such a strong little girl with a ton of determination..she will not give up.

At the end of everything...she was exhausted...but proud of her self and the achievements she made today.  Looking forward to Orlando,Florida next weekend..as she goes at it again.

Thats my girl... Love her!

What a wonderful family and these little girls were lots of fun to work with. 
Daddy had to bust out some of his basketball moves towards the end, but ohh boy did it bring out the smiles!! lol

Our Christmas Tree / Decorating

This time of year not only warms my heart but fills me with lots of Joy.  The girls are old enough now to start actually "understanding" what Christmas is all about.  As we were decorating our tree, we talked about all of our ornaments and when we got them, what the mean/represent.  Madison is learning John 3:16 at school and recites it so often when at home that I think that Miley just may pick it up. :) 


Every year I take pictures, this is my first year sharing any. Most of the time I keep them for myself.
(This is a personal share rather than a professional one, so to save on time and to keep it simple...All images are SOOC!!)


First we started by helping Daddy decorate the outside of the house...a big job, luckily he loves to do it ...and...the girls love to help!

Liles / Kail Family Sneak Peek

This past weekend I was privileged to spend some of my Black Friday with this wonderful group.  They are a great set of friends and have a wonderful family dynamic!!

They even dressed in christmas pj's for some of the session...It was lots of fun!!

Who/What is Mad & Mile.....?

     




     So as I talked with a new client over the phone recently, I was approached with the question, "Who/What is Mad & Mile, in your business name?"


     I answered my client during that phone conversation...and it got me thinking...not everyone knows 'me'.  So there for I give you...


"Mad"......    Madison Paige, 4 years old (almost 5, she will tell you!!)

AND...

"Mile".......   Miley Brooke, 2 years old (3 in December)

     Well, There you have it..!  These two girls are such a big part of MadMile Photography, not just in the name..but in the developing of it.  

     Photography has always been something I loved. Whether it was back years....ago(haha)...in high school and college, making every moment count on camera...so not to forget anything or anyone!!  Or as I have grown up, capturing endless memories with my loved ones and friends...such as holidays, weddings, births, showers, special dinners..etc.  Photography has always been a major part of my life.  I always knew it would be with me.  

     As I became a mother..I have been fortunate enough to be at home with my girls and spend endless amounts of time with them, watching them change and develop. One of the things I stress to them is that, no matter what it is that you want to do...if you stick with it and put your mind to it..You Can Do It!!

     So when it came to thought that I may want to put my work out there for others to see, expose my style to redicule or praise..whichever it may be...I became nervous and started second guessing myself.  MadMile and my husband David pushed me to do what I wanted...and not to think of the rest..telling me...You Can Do It!!

     I love them so much and appreciate the loads of support I receive from them...

     I am Thankful for everyday I have with them..

P.S.  We are expecting our third little bundle sometime late summer!!  ..not sure how to add another name to the business name...but if you know me....I will find a way!

Today was a perfect day to capture!!
We combined a family session with a Maternity session and the images are amazing!!


Big Sister Mackenzie did a great job and was such a "big girl helper".

I can't decide which I love more!! So I shared both versions...

Sneak Peak for Bob & Sue

     This beautiful couple are absolutely great. Sue is actually my Aunt-In-Law, and is always full of sass and energy! This was my first real time around Bob and we had so much fun.  These two are the cutest couple and you see the love they have for each other in the way the are when they are together..even with me watching.. They fit very well together..

Hartley Family Sneak

I had the pleasure of being with the Hartley family for their family photo shoot. We had a great time and we even got the dogs to cooperate.


Here is a sneak..

Homemade Pizza with one of my Best Girls!!

     Tonight I had some alone time with my youngest daughter Miley, she is always such a quirky little thing and so curious. I decided we would make homemade pizza for when daddy & sissy came home. Well "little miss do it herself" was quite the helper..!!
We started with the pizza dough..and "no mommy, I can do it better" was her response....

 

     Then the sauce......it was everywhere..!!

 

....and most importantly the CHEESE and salt!!!

Overall...We had a lot of fun...She smiled a lot...and I have a great memory!!


     These are the moments I live for....and why I say..."Every Moment Is A Memory, Capture It", because as time moves on and I have more special moments with my lil cupcake...this memory will fade slightly...but these "captured images" will be with me forever...So..I will never forget! 

  So I encourage you all, to take time to capture some memories of you own with your little ones, or those close to you. Whether you do it yourself or hire a professional, it will be well worth the effort..
