Just a little peak....Bourdoir Sessions....Rated PG-13 ... :-)

Well, last weekend was full of excitement for me. I had a great time with some beautiful (Inside & Out) ladies....!! It was a lot of hard work...Some unexpected delays...(I will explain in a later post)...but overall...a huge success....!!

One of my clients felt comfortable sharing some of her shots with the world....So here are a few of my favorites....!

Roger & Amie - { Maternity }

Talk about ready to pop!!...This lovely momma is definitely ready...she delivers tomorrow. I am fortunate enough to have them as my neighbors and they are such a pleasure. Little Roger is truly blessed to have such wonderful parents.

Congrats Roger & Amie...I can't wait to meet your little prince!

Selling of unedited images!!! Yikes...not for me..

Sell you my unedited images....yikes...Sorry..but I just can't.

A lot of my clients have asked about the unedited images. Most want to at least view them, others actually ask to purchase them. The answer for is the same for both. I choose not to allow my unedited images to be viewed or purchased. The reason being is that I feel like what you see after editing is usually a lot different, preferably better....than the straight out of the camera image. Even allowing you to view the unedited images to select which ones to be edited is really not going to work. You may overlook a image that will look beyond amazing once edited...but you would never know. It all comes down to ....you have researched your photographer...you like their work...and you trust their opinion. So when a photographer says..."photographers choice"....its because they are going to provide you with the best they can offer...in their style and image ...

They have done a wonderful job of really helping you understand the difference.

So much of a photographers style comes from the way a image is edited and displayed...you should consider that when selecting a photographer for you and your family.

Go Madison...& Go Marlin's Swimmers!!

Today was a cold day in Florida, highs in the 50's, windy and Madison had a swim meet!!

Madison, my 4 yo and my oldest, was so excited and didn't even think it was a big deal about the weather until she got out of the water for the first time during warm ups....brrrr...!! I think it was because she had so many wonderful people there to support her and cheer her on...One of them being her friend Kyndall...

So then we are ready to go...its time for her to really get her swim on...and then we find out...Today she will swim the butterfly for the first time at a meet...!! So anxious to see how she does.. :) But for her...it is no big deal...

It was so awesome...Every time I see her swim at a meet...It amazes me! She is such a strong little girl with a ton of determination..she will not give up.

At the end of everything...she was exhausted...but proud of her self and the achievements she made today. Looking forward to Orlando,Florida next weekend..as she goes at it again.

Thats my girl... Love her!

As a photographer I get to do something amazing, and that is to make people (women) feel as beautiful as they are. I believe every women is cover worthy in the hands of the right photographer. Since I am privileged to be that photographer -

I am excited to show you and the world (if you please), how beautiful you are!

I’m going to be honest with you, I believe you should show your loved one (husband, fiancé, etc.) you love them ALL year round, but let’s face it, there is something “warm and fuzzy” about celebrating Valentine’s Day on that single day of the year. Also, I’m a practical girl, I love chocolates and I love flowers-what girl doesn’t, but just like on your wedding day, the flowers die, the chocolate gets eaten and you’re left with nothing tangible….except for your photos or maybe that cute little teddy that he got you.

Which brings me to my point….the teddy. What better way to leave a lasting impression all year long by booking a boudoir session to show off your sexy side…..double RAWR!

Boudoir, French for bedroom, refers to images that have themes of romance, sensuality, and flirtation. It is not necessary to be nude or revealing in female boudoir photography. It has more to do with an attitude or state of mind than the state of dress or undress. The primary ideas conveyed in female boudoir photography are love, affection, romance, and giving. QUESTIONS & ANSWERS...you may think of...

What should I bring?

The first rule is to never worry about bringing too much. When in doubt, bring it! Bring cute bras, undies, nighties, stockings, heels, necklaces, earrings, your guy’s favorite shirt or an item you steal from him for the day to incorporate as a prop (instrument, hat, etc). We may not get to ALL of the outfits you bring, but it’s nice to have them available if we need them.

Where will the shoot be?

In a Private Studio located immediately off of SR 200 in Ocala. Exact location provided upon booking.

Will I have to get naked?

NOPE!!! I like for the images to stay in the PG-13 range-cute and sexy. I frequently use poses that “create the illusion of nudity” where all you do is slip down your bra straps! And if you’d like to capture a few nude poses, you can be comfortable knowing that it will be handled in a tasteful way! Please just let me know about your comfort level prior to the shoot.

How long will my session last?

1 hour

Will you put my pictures on this site?

Only if you say it’s okay! Your images will be private unless you allow me to share them.

I’m planning to do my own makeup. Are there any special things I should do on the day of the shoot?

Be sure to moisturize. Florida loves to show up in photos via dry skin and lips, so make sure your lips and skin are well moisturized the day of your shoot. (The one caveat to this is to choose your lotions carefully–stay away from anything sparkly or with an SPF–neither of these types of moisturizers photograph well.) With makeup and boudoir shoots, sometimes more is more. Go easy on your foundation, powder, and concealer, but this is the time to go for it on your eye make-up and lipstick. And if you want to add some false lashes to the mix, they look fantastic! Drama is in!!
